After Dinner Speakers: Ian McCaskill, Marvin Hamlish, Glenys Kinnock

Ian McCaskill was first introduced to meteorology during National service in the Royal Air Force, having been formally trained in geology and chemistry at Glasgow University. His appearance on our television screens in 1978 was actually accidental, but after taking over from Barbara Edwards, was immediately promoted to be in charge of the Birmingham office. Now considered Britains most memorable weather man, Ian is a professional and established presenter or awards host for after dinner speaking on environmental related matters.
