One of the South’s longest-serving broadcasters, whose connections with ITV go back to the 60’s. His television career began in 1964 with Southern Television, and he has worked non-stop as a broadcaster ever since. He has been co-presenter of the award-winning Meridian Tonight since the station went on air at the beginning of 1993 and has also presented a number of other Meridian programmes, including Southern Gold, Keep It In The Family, the annual Review Of The Year and Under Offer.
He joined TVS in 1982 as a Senior Sports Presenter, and for nine years was co-presenter of the nightly news programme, Coast To Coast. He also presented a series of the political debate Questions, more than 100 editions of the networked panel game Tell The Truth and since then he has also done 13 series of the children's programme How 2.
He has presented many editions of ITV’s flagship sports programme World of Sport, was co-presenter for ITV on two Olympic Games and presented Golf outside broadcasts for the network.
During the past few months, he has appeared on Channel 4's The Priory and in a networked ITV panel game called Never Had it So Good.
In his spare time, football is his chief relaxation - he is a dedicated Pompey fan!He lives in Hambledon, Hampshire with his wife Beverley, daughter Caroline (30) and his 20 year-old twins, Sarah and Christopher, plus three Greyhound "rescues" and an old, but much-loved horse called Sian.
