After Dinner Speakers: Emlyn Hughes, Alan Whicker, Declan Currie

In 1967 Emlyn Hughes joined Liverpool F.C. for £65,000, the start of an era wich saw him play 650 games and lead the team as Captain to numerous footaling honours. Emlyn also won 62 caps in his international career for England, 21 as captain. In 1979 Wolves acquired him to rebuild their team and in his first season he led them on to win the League Cup and was awarded an OBE in the same year. Since retiring from football Emlyn has become a television personality, best known for his enthusiastic apearances on the BBC's 'A Question of Sport'. He has also got numerous business interests.Emlyn is one of the best after dinner and motivational speakers on the circuit with a knack of being able to relate his memories of his time as a player, and captain, to suit every occasion.
