Edward is an author, publisher and campaigner. He is the founder of the Ecologist and was editor for nearly twenty years, from 1970 - 1989. He was awarded the Honorary Right Livelihood Award Stockholm (known as the alternative Nobel Prize) in 1991.He has written numerous books including 'Can Britain Survive', 'The Earth Report' and 'The Way - An Ecological World View'.
