After Dinner Speakers: Eamonn Holmes, Willem Dafoe, Jerry Springer

Eamonn is the best known and longest serving breakfast television anchorman in Britain. After a distinguished twelve-year career in current affairs and sport at UTV in Belfast, the BBC in Manchester and London he was asked to launch the newly created breakfast station GMTV on January 1st 1993, a position he holds to this day. On top of his commitments to the ratings winning breakfast show, Eamonn continues to host a wide variety of programmes both on the BBC and ITV, ranging from sports chat and debate shows, snooker and football, to regular ‘Songs of Praise’ and ‘National Lottery’ appearances. He is also increasingly presenting top rated quiz shows such as ‘Pass the Buck’ (BBC1) ‘Playing For Time’ (BBC1), ‘Public Opinion’ (BBC1), and ‘All Mixed Up’ (UTV). Eamonn is a passionate Manchester United fan and divides his week between Belfast where he lives, London where he works and Old Trafford where he worships.
