After Dinner Speakers: Dominic Holland, Bernard Ingham, Mark Perry
Dominic has performed three critically acclaimed one man shows at the Edinburgh Festival, winning the Perrier Best Newcomer in 1993, followed by a smash solo national tour in the autumn of 1994. A prolific writer, his tour show was almost two hours in length.
In 1996 Dominic gained a nomination for comedy's most prestigious accolade, the Perrier Award in Edinburgh, which is one of the hottest properties in comedy.
In addition to this, Dominic has supported Eddie Izzard's national tour, and has established himself as a top circuit comedian playing every month at the Comedy Store and Jongleurs.
His writing career includes writing with Bob Monkhouse, On The Spot, BBC 2's What If sketch show, and the last BBC Clive Anderson Series. Dominic's first screenplay is currently in development with Hat Trick Productions and he is putting the finishing touches to his second, whilst also writing a sit-com.
He is also the TV studio warm-up for Shooting Stars, Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over, Game On, and has been the team leader on Ch5's Bring Me The Head Of Light Entertainment.
Dominic's material is what sets him apart - non offensive and totally accessible to all and relies heavily on acute observations about all our lives. His observation, combined with a very personable stage presence, always makes his show relaxing, intimate and hugely enjoyable.
