Clive Anderson is a Barrister by profession but he aquired a taste for comedy while at Cambridge University in the early 1970's where he was the President of Footlights for a year. He then went on to make numerous appearances at the Comedy Store.Clive's writing credits include some of the best known television and radio programmes such as 'The Frankie Howard Variety Show', 'Alas Smith and Jones' and 'Around Midnight'. He has also written for 'The Times', 'The Observer' and 'The Sunday Correspondant'.In 1988 he made his first major television appearance, hosting the first series of 'Who's Line is it Anyway' for Chanel 4. Since then he has had his own comedy chat show first for Chanel 4 and then the BBC. He is best remembered for 'Clive Andersn All Talk' on BBC 1. He is an exellant awards host, compere and after dinner speaker.
