After Dinner Speakers: Caron Keating, John Moulton, John McCririck

When your mum is Gloria Hunniford, a career in TV is an obvious choice. Yet despite her mother's national fame, Caron Keating began by presenting programmes for BBC Northern Ireland. 1986 saw her clinch the Holy Grail of children's TV - presenting Blue Peter. Alongside Janet Ellis, Peter Duncan and Mark Curry she persuaded a generation of children to take up trampolining turn matchboxes into chests of drawers and collect milk-bottle tops for worthy causes. With her appetite for sticky-backed plastic appeased, the 39-year-old then made the transition to prime time by working on projects ranging from science show 4th Dimension to Entertainment Correspondent on London Tonight and acting on top-rated Irish drama Finbar's Class. Always entertaining, Caron is a first class guest for any occasion.
