Carol regularly presents the news on ITN's new 24-hour digital service, The News Channel. She recently presented Simply Money, a three hour-long daily consumer insight into personal financial matters, also on digital television. For two decades Carol presented every programme at ITN. She chaired discussions on very important topics of the time, including general elections, Chancellors' budgets, and Royal Weddings and funerals. She also had a distinguished reporting career with ITN, covering American presidential elections, riots, Northern Ireland, and a host of other major news stories. Carol also presented a fitness programme for Yorkshire TV, and two environmental programmes for Meridian TV. She also presented a political programme, 'Seven Days', for Meridian Television
