After Dinner Speakers: Bradley Walsh, Dickie Bird, Stirling Moss
Bradley Walsh likes making decisions. After all, this is the man who started his working life as a jet and helicopter engineer for Rolls Royce, only to swap his drawing board for football boots five years later when he was signed up as a professional by Brentford Football Club.
Two years and several injuries later he was back on the production line only to change careers again - this time moving into the glamorous world of film. Some going for a man who's still in his forties.
Ironically, Walsh's latest film incarnation - he has already had starring parts in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and The Thing Abouth Vince - is as Dave Dodds, a man who loves sitting on the fence.
