After Dinner Speakers: Ben Shephard, Noel Fielding, Anna Raeburn
Ben Shephard was born on 11 December 1974. Having excelled at school and achieved a 2:1 BA Honours degree, he has spent the last few years acquiring vital knowledge of the TV industry and is now in a position to launch his presentation skills onto the world at large! Ben has experienced a lot of life since graduating and as well as working for many production companies including Carlton TV, Planet 24 and Pozitiv Productions he has travelled the world alone, visiting five continents; worked in a French wine chateau and trained in wine tasting, as well as able to speak fluent French. In addition to this Ben is trained in contemporary dance and choreography and has representative honours in both rugby and football having played for South East England Under 16 and Under 18 football teams and for the Senior Eastern Counties in rugby. Ben presented the Bigger Breakfast with Melanie Sykes for a week in May and subsequently hosted it for the summer. This Autumn he can be seen on Control Freaks, The Bigger Breakfast and is fronting T4, Channels 4's new Sunday morning teenage network starting October 25 1998.
