Anna was born on 7th June 1981 in Moscow. And at five she started to play tennis, spotted by agents she moved to Florida when she was ten to join the Nick Bolletieri Tennis academy. Making her first final when she was thirteen, Anna was showing world championship potential, which she confirmed with her first tournament win in 1996. Although she reached a world ranking of eleven other interests in modelling and advertising are said to have been a distraction. She does however, remain a sensationally beautiful personality and a real glamour icon.
