Biography
Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, was a member of the ’90s girl group the Spice Girls. Born Victoria Adams in Hertfordshire, England, in 1974, she was interested in music and performing from a young age, and attended both the Jason Theatre School and Laine Arts Theatre College.

In 1994, Adams joined the all-girl pop band the Spice Girls, where she was nicknamed Posh Spice by the media, who picked up on her regal, fashion-conscious image. During the height of the group’s popularity Adams began dating British soccer star David Beckham and the pair eventually married in 1998. Ubiquitous targets of attention in the British tabloids, the duo were dubbed “Posh & Becks.” After the Spice Girls’ third album, Forever, was released in 2000, the band decided to take an indefinite break from recording and performing. Subsequently, Victoria Beckham began a solo recording career and released her self-titled debut in 2001.

The Beckham remains a popular figure in the media and a multi million pound 'brand.' Victoria has expanded her creative endeavors into the fashion world, designing both jeans and sunglasses lines. In 2007, David Beckham signed a landmark contract to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team. Consequently, “Posh & Becks” relocated to California, a move that was documented in the NBC reality television special Victoria Beckham: Coming to America. She also reunited with the Spice Girls for a farewell tour.
